The Monkey Business Story
A businessman came to a village and announced that he would pay ₹10 for every monkey caught. The villagers were thrilled. Some people questioned, "What will you do with these monkeys?" but most ignored the doubts and eagerly started catching monkeys.
Initially, catching monkeys was easy because there were plenty in the village and surrounding forests. Within a few days, villagers had caught more than 1000 monkeys, and the businessman bought them all. As the number of monkeys dwindled, people's enthusiasm faded.
Then the businessman made a new announcement: "Now, I will pay ₹20 per monkey." Excited by the increased price, villagers started catching the remaining monkeys with renewed energy. Soon, even these monkeys became scarce.
Next, the businessman raised the price to ₹40 per monkey. Villagers became desperate and started bringing monkeys from other villages and forests. Eventually, monkeys were wiped out from the entire area. The businessman then said he had to leave for the city for a few days and left an agent in charge of the monkeys.
A few days later, the agent gathered the villagers and said, "I will sell these monkeys to you for ₹60 each. When the businessman returns, he will buy them from you for ₹100 or even ₹200." Greed took over, and the villagers invested all their savings to buy the monkeys.
Now, they waited for the businessman to return—but he never came back. The villagers realized they had been scammed. They were now left with monkeys that nobody wanted to buy.
This is exactly how the crypto and stock market works today. Fake companies and scam projects lure people with promises of massive profits. Fraudulent tokens and coins are introduced into the market, and influencers promote them. Investors are made to believe that their money will multiply in just a few years. Without proper research, people invest blindly, only to realize later that the company has disappeared.
That's why it is crucial to think carefully, research thoroughly, and avoid scams. Caution is the key to safety. Remember, anything that promises quick riches always carries a risk. Invest your hard-earned money wisely.
